Internet & Data Circuits

Overview: For a successful implementation, a hosted PBX solution requires a quality data circuit (or circuits) to work. Unlike using a legacy PBX connected to the old public telephone network which consistently delivered quality phone calls, the quality of hosted PBX voice calls can be variable. VoIP quality is dependent upon the characteristics of the Internet circuit(s) used to transport the voice.

Data Circuit Consulting

RingCentral: RingCentral sells hosted PBX solutions.  The company does not represent or recommend Internet circuits or provider. They leave this aspect of a VoIP installation to the customer.

TeleDynamic: Data circuit consultation is an integral part of their overall hosted PBX solution. TeleDynamic has direct relations with all the top data circuit providers serving the San Francisco Bay Area. TeleDynamic has years of experience with the various provider’s lead times, circuit quality, reliability and provisioning processes.

Multiple Carrier Quotes

RingCentral:  RingCentral does not provide data carrier or Internet Service Provider quotes.

TeleDynamic:  In addition to dispensing advice on carriers, TeleDynamic provides quotes from multiple carriers, including a review of the pros and cons of each offering and final recommendations.

Place & Manage Circuit Orders

RingCentral:  RingCentral is not involved in circuit orders.

TeleDynamic:  TeleDynamic manages the circuit provisioning and delivery process. They deal directly with the carrier and the customer’s IT contact about the scheduling, technical, and physical aspects of the installation. The customer does not have to manage this process.

Resilient Data Circuit Design

RingCentral: RingCentral does not provide hosted PBX circuit design services.

TeleDynamic: TeleDynamic specializes in designing resilient voice and data networks with two or more independent connections to the Internet. As companies rely more on cloud-based applications, reliable Internet access is vital. TeleDynamic provides the technical knowledge, products and service to create robust, resilient voice/data networks at a price that is affordable.

Summary

RingCentral: RingCentral does not get involved with a customer’s WAN, Internet or data circuits.  Customers must provide an adequate voice-enabled network for their RingCentral hosted PBX service.

TeleDynamic: TeleDynamic is heavily involved in recommending, creating and supporting a quality reliable data network. They believe that it is the most crucial element in guaranteeing the success of a hosted PBX solution. As a total solution provider, they are involved in evaluating and managing circuit vendors as part of a total hosted PBX solution.

Conclusion: Customers who handle their own voice and data network are adequately served by both RingCentral and TeleDynamic Communications. In situations where a customer needs professional assistance in the design and delivery of a quality voice-ready data network, TeleDynamic provides the extra value.
