Welcome to our website.  Teledynamic Communications has a long and accomplished heritage that we are only too happy to share.  When the 1984 Telecommunications Act was passed, Teledynamic had already been in the communications business for five years.    

Our company was founded as a sole proprietorship. In 1984 Teledynamic Communications incorporated and hired its first employees.  In 1985 I joined the organization as a salesperson, and was a young student of a fledgling industry.  As a serial entrepreneur, I quickly moved into management where I learned quickly, and many times, the hard way.  As my controller has said many times, “you could write a book!”

That same year we were approached by an upstart Canadian telecom manufacturer.  Northern Telecom signed Teledynamic as its first dealer in California and Teledynamic has been a Nortel Authorized Dealer since.  Over the next few years Nortel grew to become a dominant player in the industry.   Teledynamic has now installed thousands of Norstar and BCM telephone systems, and is the largest established dealer in Northern California.

In 1989, the Loma Prieta Earthquake devastated the Bay Area.   Not only did Teledynamic survive, but we helped our fellow businesses get back on their feet again.   We were happy to contribute our services to the Bay Area in a time of great need.

In 1998, the IP PBX was born with Cisco and 3Com introducing products that year.    Teledynamic was early to recognize this game-changing technology and became a 3Com NBX dealer that same year.   Incidentally, that first 3Com customer is still using the original IP PBX!   Our breadth and depth of VOIP and IP PBX experience is unmatched in Northern California.  

We’ve always strived to be at the forefront of the telecom service business, providing long-term strategic value to our customers.  Our revenue may come from the sale of equipment and services, but our business is serving customers.  We provide the support that allows our customers to be successful in their business.   Just look at our Resources section for evidence of the importance we place on providing education and support to our customers.   I know of no other vendor in our area that can match our value.

Today, our product line has expanded dramatically into SIP, hosted PBX's and open source.  We still have hundreds of traditional PBX customers, but the future is clear that voice is rapidly evolving into the IP data network.  We aren’t just keeping up, we’re leading that charge!

Recessions, a major earthquake and tremendous change in the industry have not deterred us from serving our customers for the past 25 years.  The fact is, we’ve never been stronger as our technical capabilities and service capabilities continue to grow by leaps and bounds.   Over the past three years, through the hard work of our employees, we’ve met all of our service goals.   Now, our goal is one of constant improvement.   But don’t worry, we haven’t lost a bit of that joie de la vie and the sparkle in the eye.
